Mexico City, Mexico. November 4, 2021.– During the F1 Mexican Grand Prix (Mexico City Grand Prix), OXXO made an alliance with the Austrian team Red Bull. OXXO logo will appear on cars and clothes of drivers Max Verstappen and Checo Pérez. Also, OXXO customers would be able to take part in promotional activities to win Red Bull products and F1 merchandise.
The 2021 Mexico City Grand Prix would take place on Friday, November 5 through Sunday, November 7 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
The alliance also includes a contest called “Acelera y Gana con OXXO” (Accelerate and Win with OXXO), which consists of buying any Red Bull product in any of the OXXO stores and registering the ticket (WhatsApp Number 722 595 8904). With this, customers can win anything from a Red Bull product to official F1 merchandise.
Thanks to this alliance, a 4 Red Bull pack limited edition is available, which was exclusively for OXXO during August, as well as activations in OXXO stores with dynamics related to F1, various promotions, applicable until November 4, as well as internal competitions for collaborators.
This is not the first time that OXXO and Red Bull have worked together, in 2019 both brands made an alliance during the Mexican Grand Prix.
Checo Pérez enters the Mexican Grand Prix with 150 points, located in 4th in the F1 standings, 35 points behind Finnish driver, Valtteri Bottas, a member of the Mercedes team. Checo will look for a chance of a podium finish, to consolidate the first position of his teammate Max Verstappen, who remains in the first position.
