PTM presents its innovations at Pack Expo 2014

  • Through applied technology, PTM has been able to increase the endurance of its products up to 5 times.
  • Ultra Pallet® offers the lowest cost per trip of the industry, performance tests made by Virginia Tech´s Center for Packaging and Unit Load Design vouch for it.

Chicago, Illinois. November 7, 2014.- PTM is a Mexican company focused on providing plastic transformation solutions; during the Pack Expo 2014, the company presented its innovative and sustainable solutions in products that meet the needs of its clients and allow for an optimization of their operations.

For 4 days, PTM showed the competitive advantages it offers in practical and resistant solutions for the best handling, transportation, storage, and protection of products. One example is the Ultra Pallet®, a product that offers the lowest cost per trip in the industry manufactured in a hybrid process of high and low pressure where the columns are injected with foamed plastic, which significantly increases resistance to impacts and disassembly.

PTM is a leading company in the manufacturing of plastic boxes for beverages in Latin America and plastic furniture for the institutional market in Mexico, such as chairs, tables, and iceboxes. It is one of the largest plastic recycling companies in Mexico, recovering and recycling more than 14,000 tons of plastic every year transforming it into useful products according to the clients' needs.

PTM focuses on developing plastic transformation projects tailored to clients' needs; it serves the food and beverage, automotive, and retail industries, among others. It has a transformation capacity exceeding 20,000 tons of plastic resins per year.
