The exhibit “Interaction / Object, abstraction. FEMSA Collection.” Arrives with an innovative plastic proposal at the Museum of Modern Art of Estado de Mexico.
After its run in Monterrey, this exhibit from FEMSA Collection has continued its success in Toluca.
The Museum of Modern Art of Estado de México opens its doors for the first time to FEMSA Collection, which is presenting 28 works from 24 Latin American artists such as Leda Catunda, León Ferrari, Los Carpinteros, Betsabeé Romero, and Pedro Reyes.
The exhibit “Interaction / Object, abstraction. FEMSA Collection” – showing in this city until September 14 – has the characteristic of having a diversity of media and techniques applied through a complex social discourse, according to the reality we experience, while inviting us to ponder new meanings. The work of Pedro Reyes, who transforms firearms into musical instruments, is one example.
Looking to bring art to a greater number of spectators, this exhibit began its tour in Monterrey, during San Pedro ARTEFEST.
