Coca-Cola FEMSA Colombia sponsored a park where families can spend time together and have fun. The Park shares its name with its location, the neighborhood of Martinez Martelo in the city of Cartagena. The new park promotes physical activation by offering adults and children games, sports courts, and vast green spaces. Coca-Cola FEMSA Colombia strengthens its commitment to the community by delivering realities that provide a direct benefit for its citizens. This time, the company sponsored the creation of the Martinez Martelo Park, located in the neighborhood of the same name in the city of Cartagena. Mr. Dionisio Velez, the city’s mayor, participated in the opening ceremonies on May 30. The company invested close to $344 million Colombian pesos in the park, which fosters healthy and active lifestyles through recreational activities for children, teenagers, and adults. Throughout its 1,900 square meters of green space, the park offers games such as toboggans, swings, parallel bars, multi-sports courts, and water jets, among others. This park joins the other eleven already delivered by Coca-Cola FEMSA Colombia to the cities of Barranquilla, La Calera, and Tocancipa. In this manner, we keep on generating economic, social, and environmental value.
