PRO: OXXO Responsibility Program

One question, tons of help

We know that our social commitment goes further than our commercial interests and guides us to transform the world around us; thus we are pleased to collaborate with the OXXO Responsibility Program (PRO), which seeks to support initiatives oriented to improving quality of life among the communities that receive us.

This rounding-off program started in 2002 as part of the Social Responsibility Programs in OXXO, which consists in inviting our clients to round off their bills to the nearest peso, and donate those cents to institutions working for the community.

Thanks to this effort, which we kindly deliver on behalf of our clients, the institutions that help mostly children, youth, and the elders living under vulnerable conditions, due to sickness, disabilities, poverty, abuse, and/or abandonment, have been able to continue their programs, respectively.

Up to date, there are 1,067 institutions, in more than 60 cities in Mexico that have been benefited with this program, receiving more than $406 million pesos, allowing them to continue their very important social assistance labor.
