Coca-Cola FEMSA Colombia was founded in May 2003, when FEMSA acquired 100% of the largest franchise in the Coca-Cola system in Latin America (PANAMCO).

In Colombia, Coca-Cola FEMSA is the controlling company of Industria Nacional de Gaseosas, S.A. (INDEGA) who has as subsidiaries Embotelladora de Santander, S.A. (EMSA), Embotelladora Roman, S.A. (EMRO) and Embotelladora del Hula, S.A. (EMHU) who produce and distribute The Coca Cola Company products throughout the country.

We serve our Colombian consumers through a strong brand portfolio composed of Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Light, Coca-Cola Vainilla, Fanta, Kola Román, Lift, Premio, Quatro, Sprite and bottled waters such as Club K, Manantial, Santa Clara and Soda Clausen, with the addition of other beverages such as Powerade.

On February 2009 Coca-Cola FEMSA closed successfully a transaction in order to aqcuire the bottled water business Brisa, from Bavaria a SABMiller subsidiary. This transaction will allow Coca-Cola FEMSA to increase its presence in the water business in Colombia and it also complements even more its product portfolio.
