In Argentina, we are incorporated as a variable capital corporation since October 1991. Between 1994 and 1997, we acquired the Federal Capital territory, Buenos Aires, through the purchase of 100% of Coca-Cola FEMSA de Buenos Aires, S.A. de C.V. from a subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Company. In February 1996, we expanded our operations in Argentina to include the areas of San Isidro and Pilar, with the purchase of San Isidro Refrescos, S.A. (SIRSA).

With 19 years of presence in Argentina, Coca-Cola FEMSA has been capable of surmounting the greatest economic and financial challenges that the market and the economy of that country have lived through.

Coca-Cola FEMSA, S.A. de C.V. produces and distributes The Coca-Cola Company brands such as Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola Light, Fanta, Fanta Light, Quatro, Schweppes, Kin, Sprite, Sprite Light, Sprite Cero, Crush and Taí, as well as juices such as Black Fire and Hi-C, in the areas of Buenos Aires, the Federal Capital, and the surrounding areas of Argentina.
